Following on from the Leonard Cohen sampling ‘End of Love,’ Jack Beats are back with ‘You Should Know’ on 13th May. The second single to be taken from the duo’s forthcoming debut album, ‘You Should Know’ is a blast of anthemic bass heavy house and thunderous dub beats, topped off by an attitude laden performance from MOBO nominated UK MC Donae’o. An amazing soundclash bringing together all that is good about dance music today.
Jack Beats were personally invited by Annie Mac to come into the studio and introduce the track for its worldwide premiere on her Radio 1 show and has since been supported by the likes of Mistajam, Rob da Bank and Fearne Cotton who played the track on her daytime show. With previous single ‘End Of Love’ making the Radio 1 daytime playlist and being supported by some of the biggest DJs in the world, ‘You Should Know’ looks set to follow in its footsteps cementing Jack Beats position as the UK’s most exciting new dance act.
Having remixed the best in UK pop music including La Roux and Florence & The Machine – topping the Hype Machine charts in the process – Jack Beats are now a truly international phenomenon, called upon to add their touch to the likes of Beyoncé and Big Boi, and regularly playing to tens of thousands of fans in the US.
Renowned for their DJ sets Jack Beats, aka Niall Dailly (Plus One) and Ben Geffin (Mixologists), recently unveiled their live production show at their headline residency at Fabric and in March they begin a run of shows in the US, including headline slots at Hard in Los Angeles and New York. Their hugely anticipated debut album is due this summer and features collaborations with Example, Diplo and Chiddy Bang amongst others.
