Rainy Boy Sleep aka Stevie Martin is pleased to announce the release of single ‘Shopping Centre Song’ on the Hidden Art label in support of his forthcoming dates with James Morrison.
With his unique songwriting, haunting voice and production skills, Rainy Boy Sleep is one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting new solo acts. Spending 2011 capturing the hearts of many, Rainy Boy Sleep has played Glastonbury, Hard Rock Calling at Hyde Park London, Ray Davies Meltdown Festival at Southbank London and Reading/Leeds Festivals as part of the BBC Introducing stage. He has also supported Cyndi Lauper on her UK tour along with playing Glasgowbury, Vantastival, Stendahl Festival and many other club shows and radio sessions, leading to Jenny Huston from RTE 2FM to include Rainy Boy Sleep in her top 5 of 2011:

Rainy Boy Sleep will release a 4 track limited edition cd at the end of January to coincide with the tour. The single ‘Shopping Centre Song’ will also be available on iTunes from January 31st 2012.
