The album ‘SINNERS NEVER SLEEP’ sees YOU ME AT SIX exploring their most mature sound to date extending the band’s scope wider than ever before. Heavier tracks such as Radio One A listed lead single ‘Loverboy’ and new ‘Bite My Tongue’ merge seamlessly into the hook-infused melodies of ‘Jaws On The Floor’ and ‘Reckless’. Whereas new single ‘No One Does It Better’, ‘Crash’ and ‘When We Were Younger’ sees the band a little quieter and more introspective.
YOU ME AT SIX can also confirm that, in an industry first, they have collaborated with Thorpe Park to write a bespoke track which is dedicated entirely to the launch of Europe’s tallest winged roller-coaster, THE SWARM. The track, also entitled ‘THE ‘SWARM’, perfectly encapsulates the adrenaline fuelled 100km per hour ride and will be available to download on iTunes from MARCH 18TH.
Reinforcing their crossover from underground heroes to mainstream contenders, YOU ME AT SIX have sold out their forthcoming biggest headline tour to date. Due to demand extra dates have been added in Manchester and Birmingham and the tour will now culminate in 2 shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on April 2nd and 3rd. The band have also been confirmed as headlining the second stage at this year’s Download Festival on Saturday June 9th.
